Duties
Apart from providing professional hair styling and hair care services, hairstylists are also required to have a sense of hairstyling trends. The following are the main tasks of a hairstylist:

• A hairstylist trainee is responsible for washing hair, cleaning tools and etc.
• Provide hair cutting, dyeing, perming service and etc.
• Hair and scalp care to prevent hair related diseases
• Hairstyle and styling design

Working hours

• About 48-54 hours a week

Working environment

• Usually works in a hair salon

• Hairstylist Assistant

Approximately $11,500 or above

• Hairstylist

Approximately $13,500 or above

• A secondary school graduate
