Duties
The beautician mainly provides facial and physical care services for the customer. They need to understand the latest cosmetology product development trend, be familiar with the cosmetology technology, and have a basic knowledge and the method of skincare so that they can provide a high-quality service to customers. The followings are their main  tasks:

  • Provide facial cleaning, pore cleansing, scrubbing, shoulder and neck massage, and facial mask service for customers
  • Provide facial and body care services for customers with cosmetic and beauty equipment
  • Keep a neat and tidy appearance and wear a mask when serving customers
  • Clean beauty equipment and appliances
  • Recommend beauty treatments and products to customers

Working hours

  • About 48-54 hours a week

Working environment

  • Works in a beauty salon

Promotion and Reference Salary

  • Junior Beautician

Approximately $11,500 or above

  • Beautician

Approximately $15,500 or above

  • Senior Beautician

Approximately $18,500 or above

Note: The reference salary and the promotion salary may vary according to the company, experience, and ability.

Entry requirements

  • A Secondary school graduate
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiar with knowledge of basic beauty and care
  • Gain iTEC Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Specialist (Highly recommended)
