Volume lashes are extra thin lashes. They are extremely soft and flexible. They almost look like feathers. You can apply multiple lashes per natural lash with volume lashes, anywhere between three "3" lashes and the "10" lashes. By using only 3D, you will accomplish a very natural look. More lashes will achieve a fuller and denser look, giving your clients a more dramatic look. It all depends on what your client wants.

With Volume lashes, the application can be a little bit more complicated because you customize each volume fan as you are  applying the extensions to your cliuent's natural lashes. Creating the volume fans perfectly is very important for the process and will make you a successful lash artist in volume. High-quality volume lashes are usually very soft and very easy to fan.

When aplying volume lashes, it is essential to consider your client's natural lashes thickness and strength. Based on that, you can make recommendations on how many volume lashes you want to apply on a natural lash. You can apply anything up to ten "10" lashes per natural eyelash on a thicker lash, Always remeber that more ilme lashes you apply, the lower the weight you want to use.

Volume lashes can be found anywhere from 0.03 in weight to 0.07. The higher the number, the heavier the lash, so when you apply a mega volume on your clients, remember to always start with the 0.03, which is the lightest weight. When you are not sure about what weight to give your clients, always play it safe. Give your clients no more than 3D or 4D, which means three "3" or four "4" lashes per natural lash.
